1. Check if the notes.ini variable DNSServer= is found. This INI may be used to override Windows 2000 system name server settings. This option is provided for those System Administrators who do not wish to edit their system's registry or who wish to override the registry key information found in items #2 and #3 below. To specify the name servers to be used by Domino simply add DNSServer=192.168.7.1,192.168.7.2 to your server's notes.ini file


2. Check if a DNS servers has been speicified in the SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters\NameServer retistry key. Value should contain the IP address of the DNS servers separated by a single space. For example, 192.168.7.1 192.168.7.2

3. Check if Name Server is DHCP Server by examing the Registery Key: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters\DhcpNameServer key. Value should contain the IP address of the DNS servers separated by a single space. For example, 192.168.7.1 192.168.7.2
